Craftsmanship Without Compromise
Niels Andersen didn’t set out to build a trophy business. He set out to create something worthy of the athletes who earned it, because he knew firsthand what it meant to chase a goal with everything you had. That belief has shaped every piece he has created since 1989.
While most competition awards are pulled from a catalog and shipped from a warehouse, every Niels Andersen sculpture goes through the same process. A mold is created from the original sculpture, then cast and left to cool.
From there, each piece is individually dremeled, patched, and sanded until it’s just right; no shortcuts, no rushing. Each one is then sprayed by hand in platinum pewter, gold, or Niels’ signature gallery bronze finish, before being hand-antiqued so that every detail stands out exactly as Niels intended.
The result isn’t just a trophy. It’s a piece of art that marks one of the most important moments in an athlete’s life, and it’s made to look that way.

The Art Behind the Legacy
Niels Andersen didn’t stumble into art; he was drawn to it. From a kindergarten teacher who spotted something special to formal art training in his teens, the path was always there. What he couldn’t have predicted was how a personal setback and the need to provide for his family would be the thing that finally pushed him to pick up clay and start.
What began as a single bodybuilding sculpture in 1989 has since grown into a family-run business whose work now appears in competitions, private collections, places of worship, and memorials honoring military and first responders across the country.Â
